Sabotaging myself

The weekend has come and gone and I am no closer to my goals.  If anything, I am actually at least a pound further away.  I need to exercise the same control over my weekend eating as I do during the week.  I have been diligent about planning my meals and writing everything down during the week but when it comes to the weekend I totally relax.  What happens when I relax?  I lose control.  I eat crap I don’t need! I eat too much!  I don’t drink enough water!  All of which lead to a gain on the scale.  This morning I did a quick scale hop and I was up almost two pounds!! NOT GOOD!!  I am so mad at myself right now!  I need to keep everything in check all the time it I truly want to lose this weight.  I am my own biggest enemy!  I am so tired of being fat and out of shape.  I don’t want to be the fat mom!  I want to be the fit mom that can run and play with her kids.  I don’t want to wear frumpy clothes and look like I am 4 months pregnant all the time.  I want to be sexy for my husband.  Right now I am a cow and I hate it!!

I want to be successful!  I know that this is a long term project and I need to be patient with the process, but I must get in control and stay in control or the project will fail! No more sabotaging myself!

QOD – What do you do to stay in control?

  1. Weekends are HARD! You can do this though.

For me I need to PLAN, be hyper focused and not let myself relax (when it comes to eating/exercising). If I don't think about my goal every few minutes, I'm easily swayed by the chips and crap.

BUT I do treat myself to chips and crap sometimes. I have to track the calories first, plan for it and measure / weigh them out so that I don't eat the whole bag. And then I sit and focus on every glorious bite.

  3. I don't have a wait problem as you know, but you know that I have had to get over similar strugles. I know that hyper focusing on an issues leads to stress, and stress will lead me to act out on a bad behavior. So I am always work towards focusing on positive actions. And if in a real pinch I like to focus on my hobbies and zone out for a few. Also remember that when working with others on something you are less likely to faulter. Love ya Sis, keep trudging on.

    1. Whatever fitness or weight loss goals you are setting, you have to work hard regularly to gain results. It requires great deal of self-discipline and commitment. In order to enhance my strength and gain the most benefits from my workouts I am taking additional nutrition. I have tried a lot of different workout supplements over the years and nothing has given me as much energy and focus as Military Grade Nutritionals have. In my opinion, their pre-workouts are the most effective supplements.
